Volunteer Terms and Conditions – Voice of the Children
1. Agreement to Policies
By volunteering with Voice of the Children, you agree to follow all policies and guidelines set by the organization. These policies ensure a safe, respectful, and impactful experience for all participants.
2. Code of Conduct
Volunteers must act with integrity, respect, and professionalism at all times when interacting with children, families, team members, and community partners.
3. Confidentiality
Volunteers may have access to sensitive information. You agree to keep all such information private and not share any personal, organizational, or beneficiary details outside of the organization.
4. Health and Safety
The safety and well-being of our volunteers and the communities we serve are a priority. Volunteers must follow all safety protocols and report any concerns to a supervisor immediately.
5. Attendance and Reliability
We rely on our volunteers to be punctual and committed. If you cannot attend a scheduled activity, please notify your supervisor as soon as possible.
6. Media and Publicity
Voice of the Children may capture photos or videos during volunteer activities for promotional use. By volunteering, you consent to the use of your image unless you provide written notice stating otherwise.
7. Reimbursement
All volunteer positions are unpaid, and Voice of the Children does not offer reimbursement for expenses unless explicitly agreed upon in advance.
8. Termination of Volunteer Role
Voice of the Children reserves the right to end a volunteer’s role if policies are not followed, conduct is inappropriate, or if the role is no longer needed. Volunteers may also step down by notifying their supervisor.
9. Liability
While we strive to create a safe environment, volunteers agree to hold Voice of the Children harmless for any injury or loss incurred during volunteer activities, except in cases of gross negligence.
